When the Lord is with you

I guess we've all heard about the story of Joseph? If not, you should really read about him though I'll focus on one intriguing point about this pretty young man📖from Genesis 39.

Yunno, when the presence of God is attached to a person, success is inevitable and that was the case of Joseph. The Lord was always with him. It was this presence that attracted Potiphar to him and found him deserving to be his personal assistant.

The presence of God isn't just limited to a particular aspect of your life, It reflects in all areas. It reflected in Joseph's physique as well and that was the reason Potiphars wife( let's call her peppy) began to desire Joseph. (I mean, God's presence doesn't just come leaving you shabby and unattractive 💁‍♀️). Even the Bible tells us Queen Esther was very beautiful and had a good figureand we know that Esther loved and feared God too.

You see, peppy was a very persistent fellow, she troubled Joseph day after day, not just once, to sleep with her. The presence of God doesn't make you resistant to life's temptations, trials or battles and all these do not just come once in a month or twice a year rather they hit you like every single day in one way or the other. Just like Joseph, Peppy was always on his neck. 

You could imagine how tempting she would have been and because the God factor was a constant in Joseph's life equation, that made him an overcome after all.

Romans 8:28 tells us, All things work together for good to them that love God. Yeah.. to them that LOVE GOD not to them that GOD LOVES.  I'm not disputing that God loves everybody but you see, you don't expect God to be pleased with you when you aren't reciprocating that love🤷‍♀️. Joseph loved God and never wanted to displease Him, that's why He resisted all peppy's stunt and God saw that... How on earth would He have overlooked that?

Even when, he got implicated by Peppy still, God made a way of escape. Do you get it?  He's got your back every single time as long as you're with him. From the beginning to the end of the chapter, Joseph made sure he had no cause to lose God's presence and even until the very last verse, the Lord was with him. So when the Lord is with you.....a whole lot of good things happen!
